Hanna Instruments® Ammonia ISE Filling Solution, HI4001-40
Features:
- Appearance: colorless liquid
- CAS Nos.: standard does not contain hazardous materials
- Set of (4) 30 mL bottles of fill solution made specifically for Hanna's ammonia gas sensing ion selective electrodes (ISEs)
- Electrolyte solution should be added to the outer probe body of the HI4101 (HNA-HI4101) ISE before final assembly to ensure optimum performance
- Lot number and expiration date clearly marked on label and in air tight with a tamper-proof seal to ensure quality
- HI4001-40 fill solution is chloride ion-containing electrolyte that is required to provide a reference potential for ammonia gas sensing ion selective electrode (ISE)
- As ammonia diffuses through gas permeable membrane, thin film of electrolyte on surface of pH sensing glass undergoes pH change
- Change in pH of filling solution is proportional to concentration of ammonia gas in solution
