The 136 cubic inch (2.2 liters) capacity Thermo Scientific Benchtop Industrial Furnace reaches a 1200°C maximum temperature. Heavy-duty firebrick insulation surrounds the opening for added durability.

The rugged Thermo Scientific Benchtop Industrial Furnace is designed with multiple safety features and includes a choice of two temperature control options. Safety
  • Counter-weighted door swings upward, directing heat away from you.
  • Four individual embedded elements in special refractory cement permit excellent heat distribution in the chamber.
  • For added protection, door safety switch stops power to the heating elements when you open the door.
  • Adjustable Alarm or Over Temperature Protection (OTP) setting can be used to protect the furnace or loaded chamber from excessive heat.
  • Thermocouple break protection cuts power to the heating elements, preventing a thermocouple failure runaway condition.
  • Rear of the chamber incorporates a 0.38 (0.95 cm) diameter port for monitoring chamber temperatures with independent measuring devices.
  • 120V models require fixed wiring (no power cord). 
Control
  • Digital single set point control with a single ramp to set point and a dwell. A single display shows actual temperature or set point.
