Description
Level 3 QEC Natural Narrow Mouth Cylinder Round HDPE (high density polyethylene bottle) with polyethylene-foam lined polypropylene cap, 8 oz (250 mL), 24 mm cap, 24/case. These containers provide an excellent moisture barrier, are translucent, and are impact resistant. Narrow mouth cylinders are the preferred choice for the handling of liquid samples in the lab. The shoulder style allows pouring small quantities without spilling. HDPE cylinders are the original EPA specified bottle for liquid sampling. They are also ideal for pharmaceutical applications. The caps have excellent sealing with good chemical resistance to acids, alcohols, alkalis, aqueous products, oils, and solvents. Level 3 bottles have been specially prepared in accordance with QEC's specifications for inspection, evaluation, and applicasble cleaning procedures. An independent laboratory analyzes Level 3 containers and a Certificate of Analysis is issued, certifying that the products meet or exceed the requirements of the US EPA's Specifications and Guidance for Contaminant-Free Sample Containers. The Certificate has a specific production lot number and is included in every case. A bar code label is attached to each container, indentifying the production lot number and the container's unique ID number. These numbers can be traced back to laboratory data.
