Hanna Instruments® COD Medium Range Reagent Vials, EPA Method, 25/PK, HI93754B-25
Features:
- Reagent vials that follow EPA approved method 410.4 for determination of chemical oxygen demand (COD) medium range using compatible benchtop photometer
- Heated digestion is required to oxidize organic matter in sample
- During digestion, hexavalent chromium in reagent is reduced to trivalent chromium
- Amount of reduced chromium is then measured colorimetrically
- Intensity of color is determined by compatible photometer and COD concentration is displayed in mg/L (ppm) O2
- Designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 1500 mg/L (ppm) O2
- These high quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each box for traceability
