Drierite® Air and Gas Drying Unit, with Hose Barbs, 26800
Features:
- All-purpose drier suitable for most laboratory applications
- It will dry air to dew point of -100 degree F at atmospheric pressure or pressures up to 90 psig
- Connection by rubber hose to bottom inlet of dryer provides an immediate flow of dry air or gas
- Also available with 1 /8 inch SS NPT fittings (Cat. No. 26840)
- Plastic coated mounting clips may be purchased separately
- Continuous flows are possible with two units in line and necessary valves so that the exhausted column may be refilled while alternate column remains in use
- Indicating Drierite® gives constant visual assurance of active desiccant — distinct blue color indicates active and turns pink when exhausted
- Zone between blue and pink in the column may be purple color and should be sharp narrow band when flow rate is at equilibrium
- Regeneration will restore drying capacity — remove granules from column to regenerate
- Column is molded polycarbonate, desiccant supports and coil spring are stainless steel and polycarbonate cap is fitted with o-ring gasket — Drierite® granules are held firmly in place between felt filters
Note: Do not use this plastic column in presence of vapors or liquids containing phosphate esters, synthetic lubricants, hydrocarbon solvents, methanol, acetone, lacquer solvents, or other organics
