Description
Hanna® Laboratory Benchtop Research Grade pH/mV/ISE and Conductivity/TDS/Salinity/Resistivity Meter w/ATC and Extended Range, HI5522-01Features:
- Highly customizable user interface—includes showing measurements in various modes with or without GLP information, real-time graphing, logging data, adjustable calibration stability criteria (fast, moderate, and accurate), programmable alarm limits (inside or outside)
- Color graphic LCD—on-screen help, graphic and custom color configurations, real-time graphing, virtual keys for intuitive user interface
- Capacitive touch—sensitive touch buttons for accurate keystrokes while navigating menus and screens; four dedicated keys for routine operations including calibration and switching modes plus four virtual keys that change based on use; no worry of clogged buttons
- Four Ring Conductivity Probe—readings performed with the HI76312 four-ring conductivity probe that has built in temperature sensor for automatic temperature correction; the four rings are made of platinum and the body of the electrode of Polyetherimide (PEI) plastic which is resistance to many harsh chemicals; the design allows the probe to be used for a wide range of measurements
- Choice of calibration—automatic buffer recognition, semiautomatic, and direct manual entry pH calibration options are available for calibrating up to five points, from a selection of eight standard buffers and up to five custom buffers; for conductivity channel, calibration can be set to automatic standard recognition or user entry along with a choice of single or multi-point (up to four points can be selected)
- CAL Check™—alerts user to potential problems during calibration of pH electrode; indicators include Electrode Dirty/Broken, Buffer Contaminated, electrode response time and overall probe condition as a percentage based on offset and slope
- GLP Data—user can view calibration data and calibration expiration at touch of a key; includes date, time, and standards used
- ISE Measurement with choice of calibration units—choice for both calibration and readings for the following units of concentration: ppt, g/L, mg/mL, µg/mL, ppb, µg/L,M, mol/L, mmol/L, %w/v, and a user-defined unit
- ISE Measurement with Incremental Methods—known addition, known subtraction, analyte addition, and analyte subtraction incremental methods are pre-programmed; follow on-screen guided procedure; meter will perform the calculation automatically allowing for a higher level of accuracy to be obtained as compared to a direct ISE measurement
- Data logging—automatic, manual, and auto-hold logging (up to 100 lots with 50,000 records maximum/lot with up to 100,000 total data points) ; automatic logging features option to save data according to sampling period and interval
- Data transfer—transfer data to PC via USB cable and HI92000 (91-2599-11) software (both sold separately)
- Contextual help—dedicated Help key provides clear tutorial messages and on-screen directions to guide users through set-up and calibration; information displayed relative to setting or option being viewed
- Warranty—2 years for meter; 6 months for probes
