- Used to calibrate nitrate liquid membrane of Hanna HI4113 (HNA-HI4113) ion selective electrode (ISE)
- Standard solutions are manufactured with high purity chemicals
- ISEs require calibration for accurate readings when performing measurement techniques such as direct measurement and incremental methods
- Calibration of up to two points is recommended for enhanced accuracy
- Volumetric glassware can be used to make dilutions of standard solutions to bracket expected concentration of sample to be measured
- ISE calibration standards and sample solutions should always have same ionic strength—exact volume of ionic strength adjuster (ISA) must be added to all standards and samples prior to measurement
