Features:
- pH electrode with built-in temperature sensor and double junction
- Designed using general purpose (GP) glass, flat tip bulb, titanium body, and PTFE junction with polymer electrolyte
- Recessed flat tip is easy to clean and prevents solids in solutions from collecting on sensor
- Titanium body increases immunity to electrostatic and magnetic fields and is strongly corrosive resistant
- Also serves as a matching pin for safe, precise pH measurements
- PTFE junction often used on electrodes with polymer electrolytes and because of its chemical advantages is widely used in industrial applications
- Double junction offers distinct advantages when used under adverse conditions
- Only one junction is in contact with the sample
- Tendency of sample ingress and contamination of the electrode is minimized by this system
- Likelihood of clogging of junction is also reduced with a double junction electrode since the outer reference cell uses a fill solution that is silver-free
- Since there is no silver present, there is no precipitate that can form to clog junction
