Description
Hanna Instruments pH Electrode for Process Control and Monitoring, HI1001
Features:
- Flow-thru monitoring pH electrode
- BNC connector
- Durable PVDF body which is resistant to most chemicals, solvents, abrasion, fungal growth, ultraviolet, and nuclear radiation
- 1/2 NPT threads for in-line mounting in standard T on front end and 3/4 threads on the back end that allows submersion mounting
- Spherical glass bulb permits faster response time and higher stability due to wide area of contact with sample and is protected by mechanical stress by a PEI sleeve
- PTFE junction with polymer electrolyte which offers chemical advantages which makes it a widely used junction type for industrial applications because of its hydrophobic properties that resist clogging
- Double junction electrode with an internal compartment sounding the Ag/AgCl reference wire — silver ions are present in the internal compartment electrolyte but the external compartment is silver-free so that there is no sample contamination that can cause undersirable effects or formation of silver precipitates on the junction
