Description
Features:
- Pre-amplified pH electrode
- Easy manual one or two point calibration
- Automatic Temperature Compensation
- Low battery indicator
The handheld HI 8314 is designed to be a reliable and easy-to-use pH/mV/Temperature meter. It uses the HI 1217D pre-amplified pH electrode and internal temperature sensor. The single reference, Ag/AgCl gel-filled PEI electrode has a ceramic junction and is equipped with a 1 m cable with a DIN connector.
The manual calibration procedure is very simple with clear help messages on the LCD display and is performed at one or two points by adjusting the trimmers on the front panel. This instrument is ideal for applications that require a custom calibration point. Manual calibration can be extremely useful in order to achieve better accuracy.
There are several other features that make this instrument easy to operate. The pH, mV and temperature ranges are easily selected using the rubber keyboard on the front panel. The built-in temperature sensor in the pH electrode allows automatic temperature compensation of pH readings. A low battery indicator alerts the user when the battery needs to be replaced.
The meter is powered by a 9V battery (included).
