Retsch® BB 200 Jaw Crusher with Manganese Steel Breaking Jaws and Stainless Steel Wearing Plates, 220 V, 60 Hz, 20.053.0012The BB 200 Jaw Crusher is used for rapid, effective crushing and pre-crushing of medium-hard, hard, brittle and tough materials. The variety of materials offered, including heavy-metal-free steel, and the efficiency and safety make it ideal for sample preparation in laboratories and industrial plants. It can be used batch-wise for small samples or operated continuously for large amounts. Gap width and zero point are fully controllable for reproducible results. The unit is protected from overloads by the Belleville spring washer and this, along with central lubrication, allows for a long service life.The BB 200 is a robust and powerful forced-fee crusher. The feed material passes through the no-rebound hopper and enters the crushing chamber. Size reduction takes place in the wedge-shaped area between the fixed crushing arm and one moved by an eccentric drive shaft. The elliptical motion crushes the sample which then falls under gravity into the collector.
