Hanna® Sodium Combination Ion Selective Electrode (ISE), FC300B
Features:
- Refillable, combination Sodium ISE with a BNC connector and glass body
- Measures sodium (Na+) ions in solution
- Ideal for food and beverage production and in water quality analysis
- Spherical tip desing allows a wide area of contact for faster response and higher stability
- Must be conditioned prior to calibration — a two step process of etching and rehydrating; etching removes a thins layer of sensitive glass from the sodium membrane exposing a sodium-containing fresh surface followed by a rehydration of the glass
- Requires use of a sodium ionic strength adjuster (ISA) to adjust ionic strength of both standards and samples to high and constant value to reduce the margin of error
