Features:

  • Tryptic Soy Broth (Soybean-Casein Digest Broth) is used for cultivation of wide variety of microorganisms
  • Tryptic Soy Broth conforms to Harmonized USP/EP/JP requirements and is not intended for use in diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans
  • General purpose medium commonly referred to as Casein Soya Bean or Soybean-Casein Digest broth, and abbreviated as TSB
  • Originally developed for use without blood in determining effectiveness of sulfonamides against pneumococci and other organisms
