Corning® Pyrex™ Crucible, Gooch Type, High Form, Fritted Disc, 30 mL, Medium, 32940-30M
Features:
- 30 mL high form crucibles with 30 mm diameter medium porosity (10 to 15 µm) fritted discs
- Adapted to analytical work where precipitates are dried to constant weight at 110 degrees C
- Also suitable for higher temperatures, in which case it is advisable to heat in electric furnace
- Crucibles should not be subject to sudden temperature changes —in order to avoid strain, do not remove from furnace until temperature has dropped to 250 degrees C
- PYREX® filter tubes (No. 9480) are often used on bottom of these crucibles to collect filtrate
