HI 7072 is a reference electrolyte solution, 1M KNO3,  for double junction electrodes.  The electrolyte level in refillable electrodes should be checked before performing any measurements.  If the level is low, refill with the proper electrolyte solution to ensure the correct electrode performance.  This simple maintenace helps guarantee the efficiency and precision of your refillable electrodes.This solution is supplied in 4 x 30 mL bottles. • Mainly used as a reference fill solution for Bromide, Cadmium, Chloride, Cupric, Cyanide, Iodide, Lead/Sulfate, and Silver/Sulifde electrodes
• May be used as an alternative to 3.5 M KCl fill solution in double junction refillable pH electrodes for measurement of samples with heavy metals such as silver, lead, and mercury which react with the 3.5 M KCl to form insoluble chloride salts that clog the junction and produce erratic readings
