National Element® Fieldner Furnace for the Determination of Volatile Matter in Coal and Coke, 230V, FA120V240
Features:
- Used for determination of volatile matter in coal and coke by ASTM methods
- Equipped with chromel wire basket which supports crucible containing coal sample in furnace and which is always positioned at same depth in furnace to duplicate conditions of volatilization
- Heating chamber is 1-1/2 in. in diameter and 6 in. deep and consists of refractory cylinder on which heating element wire is cemented
- Thermocouple may be inserted through hole in bottom of furnace so that it touches bottom of crucible, permitting accurate temperature measurement during test
- Overall dimensions are 5-5/8 in. in diameter and 12-5/8 in. in height
- Power consumption at full load is approximately 360 watts
- Furnace controller is required for proper control of operating temperatures
