Holmes #351A1-BS, Manual Feed Pulverizer, 1HP, 115V / 1 Phase / 60 Hz

Holmes Model 351 is a laboratory bench-type sample pulverizer that has a capacity of 400 grams of coal, gypsum or other materials per minute using a 0.024 diameter perforated screen. It is recommended for pulverizing 4-mesh and smaller material to minus-60 mesh.

Features

• The 60-cubic inch (980 cm³) capacity, manual-feed hopper has a vinyl snap-on cover.
• The interior of the pulverizing chamber is completely machined and sealed.
• A quick-opening latch provides easy access to the pulverizing chamber and interrupts the power to the motor when the door is open.
• The one-piece, dynamically balanced rotor is easily cleaned.
• Screen plates are circles with the loose ends held by two lock pins that extend into the pulverizing chamber. Available perforation diameters are (in inches) 0.020, 0.024, 0.033, 0.040, 0.0625, and 0.093.
• Also available are 0.010 X 17/32 inch slots.
• A one HP, 12 amp, 115 volt or 230 volt, single phase, open motor turns the rotor at about 10,000 rpm.
• A Nema-4 starting switch provides overload protection. The open-door sensor cuts power until the door is closed and latched.
