Description
Myron L® Ultrapen™ PT3 ORP/REDOX & Temperature Pen, PT3Features:
Specifications:
* Temperature compensation in calibration mode: Temperature affects the reaction potentials for all chemicals differently. True ORP is the direct measurement of electron activity during an oxidation-reduction reaction, regardless of temperature. However, for maximum accuracy and case of calibration, the Myron L® Company has developed three calibration solutions with known dissolved species. Temperature compensation for those solutions has been derived (from 15 to 30 °C) and embedded in the calibration function of the PT3. Note: to verify calibration while in measurement mode, the temperature variation must be manually corrected. Example: @ 25 °C, ORP2602OZ calibration solution will read 260 mV, and @ 20 °C it will read 265 mV.
