Description
The 4520 Series are the largest reactors that can be operated on a bench top. They caome in two sizes and can be either fixed head or movable vessels and have a maximum operting pressure of 1900psi (130bar). Depending on the gasket for the main head, the reactor can reach an operating temperature of up to 350 degree C. Due to their large cylinder diameter, there is ample space for additional options, such as: internal cooling coil, catalyst addition devices, condensers, electrical feed-troughs and more. The standard stirrer drive on this series works well for mixtures with viscosity up to 25,000 centipoise. For heavier loads, reactors with larger magnetic drives and more powerful motors are available.
