PAR-4550 Series Reactors by Parr Instruments, 1 - 2 Gallon, 1900 psi

 

 

The 4550 Series Reactors are an extension in size of the 4530 series.  They can be either fixed head or movable vessels and have a maximum operating pressure of 1900psi (130bar).  Depending on the gasket for the main head, it can reach maximum operating temperatures up to 350 degree C.  Some movable head reactors allow opening and closing without removal of the cylinder from the heater and without auxiliary handling equipment.  The fixed head models allow the head and connections to remain in place while the cylinder and heater are lowered by pneumatic lift system.  This series also allows for addition of a variety of attachments.  All models require 230Vac power due to the higher wattage heaters.
