Description
The 4590 Series Micro Reactors come in three sizes (25ml, 50ml and 100ml) with either movable or fixed head and a maximum operating pressure of 3000psi (200bar). Depending upon the gasket for the main head, the reactor can reach a maximum operating temperature of up to 350 degree C. The 25ml and 50ml micro reactors utilize a clamp-on band heater, while the 100ml micro reactor uses a mantle heater. Cooling capability is not available with this reactor due to limited space. The Parr micro reactors are an excellent choice for chemists working with expensive materials or materials available in small amounts. They are also ideal in minimizing the amount of waste product produced and also in restricting the amount of reactants/products in a given reaction. These micro reactors can be easily converted from one size to another by substituting the cylinder and internal fitting to the size of choice.
