Description

Hanna® Foodcare pH Electrode for Dairy Products and Semi-Solid Foods with DIN Connector, FC202D

Features:

  • Designed especially for semi-solid foods and dairy — an essential for kitchen, or food lab or hobbyist
  • 1 m cable
  • 7-pin DIN connector
  • Amplified electrode with built-in temperature sensor
  • Low temperature glass tip with a lower resistance of approximately 50 megaohms (compare to GP glass with resistance of 100 megaohms) making it suitable to measure from 0 to 50 °C — as temperature decreases the resistance increases to where it would approach that of GP glass at ambient temperatures; therefore the resistance of GP glass would increase above its optimum resistance
  • Conical-shaped tip to allow penetration of solids, semi-solids and emulsions for direct measurement in meat, cheese, yogurt and milk
  • Polyvinylidene fluroide (PVDF) food grade plastic which is resistant to most chemicals and solvents, including sodium hypochlorite, abrasions, fungal growth ultraviolet and nuclear radiation
  • Open junction reference design consists of a solid gel interface (viscolene) between the sample and the internal Ag/AgCl reference which prevents silver contamination of sample and is impermeable to clogging that can occur as a result of suspended solids and proteins

For use with:

  • HI99161 pH meter

  • Milk
  • Yogurt
  • Dairy Products

  • Semi-solid Foods
