Description
Hanna® Foodcare pH Electrode for Dairy Products and Semi-Solid Foods with DIN Connector, FC202D
Features:
- Designed especially for semi-solid foods and dairy — an essential for kitchen, or food lab or hobbyist
- 1 m cable
- 7-pin DIN connector
- Amplified electrode with built-in temperature sensor
- Low temperature glass tip with a lower resistance of approximately 50 megaohms (compare to GP glass with resistance of 100 megaohms) making it suitable to measure from 0 to 50 °C — as temperature decreases the resistance increases to where it would approach that of GP glass at ambient temperatures; therefore the resistance of GP glass would increase above its optimum resistance
- Conical-shaped tip to allow penetration of solids, semi-solids and emulsions for direct measurement in meat, cheese, yogurt and milk
- Polyvinylidene fluroide (PVDF) food grade plastic which is resistant to most chemicals and solvents, including sodium hypochlorite, abrasions, fungal growth ultraviolet and nuclear radiation
- Open junction reference design consists of a solid gel interface (viscolene) between the sample and the internal Ag/AgCl reference which prevents silver contamination of sample and is impermeable to clogging that can occur as a result of suspended solids and proteins
For use with:
- HI99161 pH meter
- Milk
- Yogurt
- Dairy Products
- Meat
- Semi-solid Foods
