The market-leading Dilatometer is used to determine the expansion and contraction characteristics of coking coal. The Dilatometer represents a completely new instrument design. The Dilatometer uses a commercial PC linked to an instrument specific interface and control box. Inter-unit cabling uses reduced size connections and a USB link to the host PC. The Dilatometer furnace retains the market leading proven assemblies outfitted with advanced component mounting and other mechanical improvements. 

Market's Most Economical System to Increase Sample Throughput:

The instrument interface box to our system is unique in that it is equipped to allow single, double, triple or quadruple instrument operation of a mix of desired Dilatometer and/or Plastometer instrument types. This can be specified at time of purchase or expanded at a later time.

The fully automatic system is designed around ASTM D-5515 and ISO Standard 349 for the Audibert-Arnu method of analysis.
