Description
Shimadzu Total Organic Carbon Analyzer, TOC-L Series
This series of TOC analyzer utilizes the Shimadzu-designed, global standard, 680 °C combustion catalytic oxidation/non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) detection method and offers the optimum selection of performance features and options to meet the specific requirements for your TOC testing. Samples from aqueous samples ranging from ultrapure water, drinking water, wastewater, brine water, and seawater to solid and gaseous samples (with optional equipment) can be analyzed. The combustion catalytic oxidation method allows analysis of both easy-to-decompose, low-molecular weight organic compounds and hard-to-decompose insoluble and macromolecular organic compounds.
Features:
Extremely wide measurement range from 4 µg/L to 30,000 mg/L with a detection limit of 4 µg/L
Reliable sample injection system with automatic sample acidification and sparging
Automatic sample dilution function to reduce salinity, acidity, and alkalinity which extends the use of catalysts and combustion tubes Stat or priority samples can be added at any time without interrupting operation even with an autosampler Multiple models available from stand-alone or PC-controlled, high-sensitivity or standard models
Options available to enhance functionality, such as, autosamplers, stirrer unit, TN (total nitrogen) unit, carrier gas purification unit, solid combustion unit, small sample volume kit, etc.
Space-saving and energy-saving design
Automatic settings for optimal measurement conditions, optimal calibration curve, changing conditions, re-measurement of out-of range samples, exclusion of anamolies, re-calculation of repeated measurements, and sleep/restart modes
Applications:
Effluent treatment process control for wastewater, plating, industrial processes, water recyling Quality control for drinking water, ultrapure water, boiler water, electronic components, raw materials, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals Environmental monitoring for river, lakes and marshes, underground water, sea water, soil, sludge, sediments Biodegradable plastics and cement secondary products
