Volatile Matter Furnace, with Solid State Temperature Control, 240 Vac, 50/60 Hz
This furnace is designed for determining the volatile matter of coal samples. The large, 3-1/2 in. ID furnace bore allows up to four samples to be tested at one time, using the crucible holder provided. The furnace element design permits either a single step manual insertion of the sample or, using an optional drive mechanism, a two-step procedure. The furnace is of double-walled construction for operator safety and comfort. An integral solid state control is provided for accurately maintaining furnace temperature.
